Recent works carried out
2016 - The installation of an Antonini special ware Annealing lehr, this was carried out on behalf of our customer and again in conjunction with an Antonini engineer. The work was carried out during the customers annual shutdown to provide uninterrupted production.
2016 - 2018 - We have replaced our customers’ existing package lehr gas burners to a newer design throughout various lehrs in their factory, this typically involved control panel modifications and burner mounting flange adaptors and pipework modifications
2017 - The installation of two Pennekamp Gas fired Decorating lehrs was carried out in conjunction with a Pennekamp engineer to provide our customer with the satisfaction that their requirements are met.
2018 - The refurbishment of 7 No x 4M wide EW Bowman Annealing lehrs at our customers bespoke bottling plant during a recent furnace re-build. The typical work involved: Internal frame repairs, Drive overhaul, New rollers, Bearings and the mattress replacement.
2018 - EW Bowman supply Mould Ovens gas heating system was upgraded, which included new Burners and control panel re-configuration - See repair works for further information.
2018 - Due to our customers site expansion, we dismantled two Decorating lehrs and re-located them on their site. During which time the lehrs where fully re-wired, overhauled and repaired accordingly.
2018 - The refurbishment of an old Mould Oven, which included a New Control Panel & mechanical repairs - See repair works for further information.
2019 - Lehr removal & re-install on a different customers site
2019 - The removal of the existing Pennekamp burners from a decorating lehr and carrying out mechanical/electrical modifications to incorporate new package burners
2019 - EW Bowman Lehr overhaul, including: Internal repairs, rollers, bearings, mattress and the removal of the OEM burners and exchange with European compliant Package Burners c/w all Electrical & Mechanical modifications
2019 - The overhaul of 2 x EW Bowman lehrs, the work included: Internal repairs, rollers, bearings and the installation of a new mattress
2019 - The exchange of complete muffle in a Leerco supply Decorating lehr
2020 - The refurbishment of 6 No x 4M wide EW Bowman Annealing lehrs at our customers bottling plant during the recent furnace re-build. The work included: Internal frame repairs, Drive overhaul c/w up-rated drive gear, new rollers, bearings and the mattress replacement.

2020-21 - The refurbishment of 1 x 4M & 1 x 5.2M wide EW Bowman Annealing lehrs at our customers bottling plant in Ireland during the recent furnace re-build. The work included: Internal frame repairs, Drive overhaul c/w up-rated gearbox & drive gear, new rollers, bearings and the mattress replacement.
Typical works
· Numerous lehr belts have been replaced, typically these would involve either full mattress removal for inspection & belt installation or new to old connection for minimal downtime.
· Provide consultation assistance to our customer in the procurement of a redundant lehr for a new process. This included an overseas visit to check suitability and to ensure it could be reconfigured into the desired layout to meet their requirements. Site services were then provided to facilitate the full turnkey installation of the equipment.
· Spare Lehr parts continue to be a major part of our services with numerous varied items been sourced and supplied throughout the year.
